As well as viewing the distribution of events on the map, the Data Explorer shows the density of data points over time, enabling you to identify temporal trends in your dataset.
Each of the time-based visualizations display a line chart, with time on the X axis and event density on the Y axis, for the area of the map you have selected. When you change the time range by zooming in or out, or panning to a different part of the time range, the events displayed on the map, the property statistics and the point count update dynamically. All of these are updated based upon the data points that are visible on the map for the time range you have selected.
